ESA
S600 & S800-series press brake controls — serviced & programmed by A1.
ESA S.p.A. (Mariano Comense, Italy) builds the CNC controls fitted to press brakes and shears by machine builders across Europe, Turkey and Asia: the widely fitted S600 series — S630, S640, S650 and S660 — and the current S800 family, comprising the compact S830, S840 and S850, the Windows-based S850W, S860W and S875W rack units, and the S825 for shearing machines.
Most ESA controls reach an Australian workshop fitted to an imported machine rather than bought on their own, and that is exactly where support gets thin. A1 works on ESA in-house — Jan is factory-trained on it — so a fault gets diagnosed rather than swapped.
What A1 does on ESA equipment
- Fault diagnosis on S600 and S800-series controls — on-site across SE Queensland or by remote VPN anywhere in Australia
- Programming and bend-sequence setup, including tooling and material libraries
- Axis, crowning and parameter setup after a move, a repair or a bad update
- Control backups before they're needed, and restores when they are
- Retrofit when an ageing control outlives mechanics that are still sound
- Operator training on the ESA screen your shop actually runs
Common questions
Which ESA controls does A1 work on?
The S600-series press brake controls — S630, S640, S650, S660 — and the S800 family: the compact S830, S840 and S850, the Windows-based S850W, S860W and S875W, and the S825 shear control. On whatever machine brand they're fitted to. If your unit isn't listed, call — enquiries are answered within 24 hours.
My ESA control has stopped reading an axis — is the control dead?
Usually not. Most ESA faults trace to position feedback, cabling, parameters or a peripheral rather than a failed control, so A1 diagnoses before anything gets replaced: remote VPN diagnosis anywhere in Australia, on-site across SE Queensland.
Nobody supports the ESA control on my imported press brake — can you?
Yes. A1 services controls regardless of who sold the machine or whether the importer is still around. The control expertise transfers across machine brands, which is the whole point of being factory-trained on the control rather than on one builder's product line.
