Owner-operated
A1 is Jan Payne's business, and the 35 years are his: factory-trained on sheet-metal forming machinery and the CNC controls that run it, including Delem, Cybelec, Heidenhain, ESA, Fagor, Beckhoff, Rexroth and Hurco.
Controls done in-house
Most dealers subcontract control work. At A1 the person who recommends your machine installs it, programs the control, trains your operators and picks up the phone when it faults.
Independent
No dealer agreements, no brand quota. We source the machine that suits the parts you make, new or second hand, then stand behind it.
Where we work
Workshop at Redland Bay, south-east of Brisbane, by appointment. Machines supplied Australia-wide. Hands-on service across SE Queensland, scheduled fly-in interstate, remote VPN diagnostics anywhere. Enquiries answered within 24 hours.
