Press Brake Service & Repair

Diagnosis, repair, calibration and control programming — by the technician who works on these machines daily.

A press brake that's down is a production line that's stopped. A1 services hydraulic and electric press brakes across the major brands — and because Jan is factory-trained on the CNC controls that run them, the diagnosis starts at the control, where most modern faults actually live.

That control depth is the difference. Most dealers subcontract control work; A1 does it in-house — which is why we can tell you why your machine faults, not just that it does, and why a remote VPN session often resolves a "dead" control before anyone travels.

What the work covers

  • Fault diagnosis — hydraulic, electrical and CNC control, diagnosed before parts get thrown at it
  • Control work on Delem, Cybelec, Heidenhain, ESA, Fagor, Beckhoff and more: programming, parameters, axis setup, backups — in-house, not subcontracted
  • Calibration and crowning setup when bend angles wander along the length
  • Hydraulic service: valves, seals, pumps and pressure setting
  • Safety system service, including Lazersafe guarding
  • Installation, commissioning and relocation of new and used brakes
  • Operator training on the control your shop actually runs

Common questions

My press brake is down — what happens when I call?

Describe the fault and we'll respond within 24 hours. Many control-side faults can be diagnosed remotely by VPN before anyone travels, which means when a visit is needed we arrive knowing what we're walking into — often with the right parts.

The bend angle varies along the part — can that be fixed?

Almost always. Angle variation along the bend usually traces to ram-to-bed parallelism, missing crowning compensation, worn tooling, or material variation. Calibration and crowning setup is standard work for A1 — it's a service call, not a new machine.

The control shows a fault code — is the machine dead?

Rarely. Most Delem and Cybelec faults trace to parameters, axis feedback, batteries or peripherals rather than the control itself. Record the exact code and call — remote VPN diagnosis covers most control faults anywhere in Australia.

Do you service brands you didn't sell?

Yes. A1 services press brakes across the major brands regardless of where they were bought — the control expertise transfers. Factory-trained on Delem, Cybelec, Heidenhain, ESA, Fagor, Beckhoff, Rexroth and Hurco.

Where do you service?
